Change or Delete Address Book Names or Numbers

MFC-T810W

  1. Press image (Address Book).
  2. Press image to select [Speed Dial].
  3. Press image to select [Edit AddressBook].
  4. Press image or image to select [Speed Dial]. Press OK.
  5. Enter the two-digit Speed Dial number (01-40) that you want to change or delete using the dial pad. Press OK.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • Press image to change the stored number.
    • Press image to delete the stored number, and then press image to confirm.
    • Press Stop/Exit to exit without making a change.
  7. Do one of the following:
    • To change the stored number, press image or image to position the cursor under the digit you want to change, then press Clear/Back. Re-enter the number. Press OK.
    • To change the character, press image or image to position the cursor under the character you want to change, then press Clear/Back. Re-enter the character. Press OK.
  8. Press Stop/Exit.

MFC-T910DW

  1. Press image (Address Book).
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To change the number, press image or image to select the following:
      1. Select [Change]. Press OK.
      2. Select the Speed Dial name where you want to change the number. Press OK.

      Do the following steps:

      1. To change the name, press image or image to select [Name], and then press OK. Press image, image, image or image to re-enter the name (up to 16 characters) using the keyboard on the LCD and select [OK]. Press OK.
      2. To change the fax or telephone number, press image or image to select [Fax/Tel], and then press OK. Press image, image, image or image to re-enter the fax or telephone number (up to 20 digits) using the keyboard on the LCD and select [OK]. Press OK.

      Press image or image to select [OK] and then press OK.

    • To delete the number, press image or image to select [Delete]. Press OK.

      Do the following steps:

      1. Press image or image to select the Speed Dial name where you want to delete the number.
      2. Press image or image to select the check box labelled with the Speed Dial name. Press OK.
  3. Press Stop/Exit.
