Use thread colors that coordinate with the appliqué pattern and fabrics. The embroidery color order display does not specify the color of the appliqué pieces or appliqué position.
Attaching the Embroidery Frame with Base Fabric to the Machine
(a) Attach stabilizer material to the wrong side of the fabric for the appliqué base.
(b) Hoop the fabric in the embroidery frame and attach the embroidery frame to the machine.
(c) Start the machine to embroider parts of the pattern until the machine stops at the [APPLIQUE MATERIAL] step.
If there are no parts before [APPLIQUE MATERIAL], go to the next procedure.

At the [APPLIQUE POSITION], create and affix the appliqué piece.
(a) Attach stabilizer material to the wrong side of the fabric for the appliqué piece.
(b) Put the fabric for the appliqué piece on the base so that it covers the sewn outline of the appliqué position and temporarily fix it using tape.
If the appliqué piece cannot be attached to the base fabric with tape, securely baste it in place with basting stitches.
(c) Attach the embroidery frame to the machine.
Lower the presser foot lever, and then press the “Start/Stop” button to sew the outline of the appliqué.

(d) Remove the embroidery frame from the embroidery unit.
Do not remove the base fabric from the embroidery frame until all embroidering is finished.
(e) Cut around the outside of the stitches of the fabric for the appliqué piece.

Do not pull or push on the fabric to cut it. Otherwise, the fabric may loosen in the frame.
(f) Attach the embroidery frame to the machine.
Lower the presser foot lever, and then press the “Start/Stop” button to sew the finishing edge stitches of the appliqué.

(g) Embroider the remainder of the pattern until finishing the last part of the sequence.
If [APPLIQUE MATERIAL] comes again, follow the above steps to sew parts of [APPLIQUE MATERIAL], [APPLIQUE POSITION], and [APPLIQUE].Sewing the Appliqué Position on the Base Fabric
