Appliqué Patterns

The embroidery pattern contains an appliqué when the embroidery color order display shows
[ (APPLIQUE MATERIAL)],
[ (APPLIQUE POSITION)] or
[ (APPLIQUE)].

There are two types of procedures to embroider the built-in appliqué patterns. Refer to the “Embroidery Design Guide” to check the type appropriate for the pattern to be embroidered and follow the procedure.

  • Appliqué 1:

    Create appliqué pieces beforehand and then embroider the remainder of the pattern.

  • Appliqué 2:

    While keeping the base fabric in the frame until a sequence of all items is completed, sew and cut fabrics for the appliqué pieces on the base fabric in the required order.
