- Press Settings.
- Press
or 
to select the following: - Select [Fax]. Press OK.
- Select [Miscellaneous]. Press OK.
- Select [Distinctive]. Press OK.
- Select [Off]. Press OK.
- Press Stop/Exit.
When you turn off Distinctive Ring, the machine will stay in [Manual] mode. You must set the Receive Mode again.
