Setup Mail RX (of Setup IFAX menu)

This menu has five selections: Auto Polling, Poll Frequency, Header, Del Error Mail and Notification.

When set to On, the machine automatically checks the POP3 server for new messages.

1	Press Menu.
2	Press or to choose LAN. Press OK.
3	Press or to choose Setup IFAX. Press OK.
4	Press or to choose Setup Mail RX. Press OK.
5	Press or to choose Auto Polling. Press OK.
6	Press or to choose On or Off. Press OK.
7	Press Stop/Exit.

Sets the interval for checking for new messages on the POP3 server (default is 10Min).

1	Press Menu.
2	Press or to choose LAN. Press OK.
3	Press or to choose Setup IFAX. Press OK.
4	Press or to choose Setup Mail RX. Press OK.
5	Press or to choose Poll Frequency. Press OK.
6	Enter the polling frequency. Press OK.
7	Press Stop/Exit.

This selection allows the contents of the mail header to be printed when the received message is printed.

1	Press Menu.
2	Press or to choose LAN. Press OK.
3	Press or to choose Setup IFAX. Press OK.
4	Press or to choose Setup Mail RX. Press OK.
5	Press or to choose Header. Press OK.
6	Press or to choose All, Subject+From+To or None. Press OK.
7	Press Stop/Exit.

When set to On, the machine automatically deletes error mails that the machine can not receive from the POP server.

1	Press Menu.
2	Press or to choose LAN. Press OK.
3	Press or to choose Setup IFAX. Press OK.
4	Press or to choose Setup Mail RX. Press OK.
5	Press or to choose Del Error Mail. Press OK.
6	Press or to choose On or Off. Press OK.
7	Press Stop/Exit.

The notification feature allows a confirmation of receipt message to be transmitted to the sending station when the I-Fax has been received.

This feature only works on I-Fax machines that support the ”MDN” specification.

2	Press or to choose LAN. Press OK.
3	Press or to choose Setup IFAX. Press OK.
4	Press or to choose Setup Mail RX. Press OK.
5	Press or to choose Notification. Press OK.
6	Press or to choose On, MDN or Off. Press OK.
7	Press Stop/Exit.
