Documents can jam if they are not inserted or fed properly, or if they are too long. Follow the steps below to clear a document jam.
Document is jammed inside the front of the machine
| 1 | Take out any paper from the ADF that is not jammed. |
| 2 | Pull the jammed document (1) out toward the front of the machine. |
| 3 | Press Stop/Exit. |
Document is jammed inside the panel cover
| 1 | Take out any paper from the ADF that is not jammed. |
| 2 | Open the panel cover. |
| 3 | Pull the jammed document out. |
| 4 | Close the panel cover. |
| 5 | Press Stop/Exit. |
