Load Envelopes and Multi-Layered Transfer Paper
- Slide the Document Separation Switch to the left and confirm that it is set to
(Manual Single Mode). 
When the machine is in Manual Single Mode, Multifeed Detection is not available. - Gently adjust the Paper Guides (1) to fit the width of your envelope or transfer paper.
- Place your envelope or transfer paper, face down, top edge first in the ADF between the Paper Guides until you feel it touch the inside of the machine.
- IMPORTANT
- DO NOT slide the Document Separation Switch during scanning. Doing this may damage the machine.
- NOTE

When finished, slide the Document Separation Switch to the right and confirm that it is set to
(Continuous Feed Mode).
