Load Non-standard Size Documents
- Slide the Document Separation Switch to the left and confirm that it is set to
(Manual Single Mode). 
When the machine is in Manual Single Mode, Multifeed Detection is not available. - Fold your document in half, as shown.
- Gently adjust the Paper Guides (1) to fit the width of your document.
- Place your document, face down, top edge first in the ADF between the Paper Guides until you feel it touch the inside of the machine.
- IMPORTANT
- DO NOT slide the Document Separation Switch during scanning. Doing this may damage the machine.
- NOTE

When finished, slide the Document Separation Switch to the right and confirm that it is set to
(Continuous Feed Mode).
