Loading Documents

The document feeder can hold up to 50 pages and feeds each sheet individually. Use 80 g/m² paper and always fan the pages before placing them in the document feeder.

Important

•	DO NOT pull on the document while it is feeding.
•	DO NOT use paper that is curled, wrinkled, folded, ripped, stapled, paper clipped, pasted or taped.
•	DO NOT use cardboard or fabric.

Loading Standard Size Documents

Make sure documents with ink or correction fluid are completely dry.

1	Open the Top Cover (1).
2	Fan the pages well.
3	Adjust the Document Guides (1) to fit the width of your document.
4	Place your document, face down, top edge first in the document feeder underneath the Guides until you feel it touch the inside of the machine.
5	Pull the Output Tray out of the machine and then unfold the Document Stopper.
