Message | Cause/Remedy |

Battery Low! | The batteries are running low. Replace the batteries with new ones. |
BatteryEmpty | Replace the batteries for uninterrupted operation. |
Feed Error! Check Tape |

File Missing | There is no data stored in the File option in the menu. Store the label data in the File option and then open the file. |
Full! | The maximum number of characters (80 characters) has been entered. |
Invalid! | Invalid value is selected for the Label Length option. Labels can be between 1.2" (30 mm) and 12.0" (300 mm) in length. |
Line Limit! | The maximum number of printable lines has been reached. |
No Text! |

SystemErrorX | Contact Brother Customer Service or your local Brother dealer. |
Text Limit! | The number of characters entered exceeds the label length. Reduce the text or select Auto as the label length. |
UnitCooling | If the Print Head becomes too hot, your Label Maker will stop printing and cool down. Do not touch the Label Maker when it is cooling down. |

Wrong Adapter | An incompatible AC Adapter is connected. Use a supported AC Adapter. |
Wrong Tape Use Btag tape | Installed tape is incompatible with your Label Maker. Use a Tape Cassette with the Btag mark. |
