Maintenance
We recommend cleaning your Label Printer on a regular basis to maintain the best performance.
Always disconnect the USB cable and turn the Label Printer off before cleaning.
Clean the Label Printer (Exterior)
- Wipe any dust and marks from the label printer's exterior using a soft, dry cloth. Use a cloth slightly damp with water on difficult to remove marks.
- IMPORTANT
- Do not use paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or any other organic solvent. These may deform or damage the Label Printer case.
Clean the Print Head and Head Roller
Streaks or poor-quality characters on printed labels generally indicate that the print head and head roller are dirty.
- Clean the print head using a dry cotton swab.
- CAUTION
- Do not touch the print head directly with your bare hands. The print head may be hot.

Clean the Tape Cutter
Tape adhesive can build up on the cutter blade after repeated use, which may result in the tape jamming in the cutter.
- Wipe the cutter blades (metal part) using a dry cotton swab once every twelve months.
- CAUTION
- Do not touch the cutter blade with your bare hands.
