The following Wi-Fi connection methods are available:

Using a Wi-Fi Router/Access Point (Infrastructure Mode)

Infrastructure Mode allows you to connect the printer to a computer or mobile device via Wi-Fi router/access point.
  • Before You Begin

First you must configure the printer's Wi-Fi settings to communicate with your Wi-Fi router/access point. After the printer is configured, the computers and mobile devices on your network will have access to the printer.

    • Before connecting the printer to your network, contact your system administrator to confirm your Wi-Fi network settings.
    • To reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings, or if the status of the printer's Wi-Fi connection is unknown, reset the printer's Wi-Fi settings.
      1. Press the image (Power) button to turn off the printer.

Large objects and walls between the two devices as well as interference from other electronic devices can affect the transfer speed of print data.
