Administrator
Use Administrator settings to specify or change administrative options such as remote update and security settings.
Remote update Tab
- FTP
- Update id
Displays the identifier of the update applied to the device.
- IP address of FTP server
Type the FTP server address.
- Port:
Specify the port number used to access the FTP server.
- Passive mode
Enable or disable passive mode for FTP communication.
- User name:
Type a user name that has permission to log in to the FTP server.
- Password:
Type the password associated with the user name you entered in the User name: field.
- Log storage
Select whether to export the update log to the FTP server.
- Log storage path of FTP server
Type the path to the folder on the FTP server where you want to export the log data.
- Path
Specify the directory path on the FTP server where update files are stored.
- Setting file name
Specify the name of the configuration file used for remote updates.
- SSL/TLS
Specify the encryption method used for secure FTP communication.
- Verify Server certificate
Enable or disable verification of the FTP server's SSL/TLS certificate.
- Auto update
Enable or disable automatic checking and installation of updates.
- Check for update
Specify the method used to check for updates.
- Fixed interval
Specify the time interval for checking updates automatically.
- Specified time
Specify the exact time of day to check for updates.

Establish a Bluetooth or Wireless Direct connection using the NFC function.
Security Tab

- Lock settings
Locks the menu settings so that they cannot be changed.
- Airplane mode
Allows disabling the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi interfaces. This function is useful when you use the device in a place where signal transmissions are not allowed.
- Admin password
Select On to configure administrator mode.
- Password:
Set a four-digit password that must be used change the menu settings.
- Disable edit
Selects whether object editing is prohibited or not.
- Print head check when powered on
Sets whether to check the status of the print head when you turn the device on.
