Loading Paper Overview

  1. Load the paper in the paper tray as follows.

    When using Cut-sheet paper, fan the stack of paper well.

    The paper size determines the orientation when loading paper.

    Extend the tray using the green slider, then adjust the paper guides.

    Tray #2 How to Load Paper

    A4

    (Plain paper and Recycled paper only)

    Make sure there is no Fabric roll in the tray.

    Set the switch flap to Cut-sheet mode.

    Load the paper in landscape orientation.

    Fabric Roll *1

    Make sure there is no Letter or A4 size paper in the tray.

    Set the switch flap to Fabric roll mode.

    Feed the Fabric roll through the tray until the feeding edge touches the far edge of the tray.

    You can load only one sheet of paper into the manual feed slot at a time.

            

  2. Do one of the following, and then make sure the paper support is set correctly:
    • When printing on Cut-sheet paper, extend the paper support flap.

    • When printing on Fabric roll, close the paper support.

      To avoid damaging the printout, DO NOT extend the paper support.

  3. Change the paper size setting in the machine’s menu.
