The printer settings has three levels of default settings; the default settings have been set at the factory before shipment. (see
Menu table).

• | You cannot modify the present default settings. |
• | Page counter can never be changed. |
If you want to reset the print server back to its factory default settings (resetting all information such as the password and IP address information), follow these steps:
1 | Press any of the menu buttons (+, -, Set or Back) of the control panel on your machine. |
2 | Press + or - to choose NETWORK. Press Set. NETWORK  |

3 | Press + or - to choose FACTORY RESET. Press Set. FACTORY RESET  |

4 | Press Set again. RESTART PRINTER?  |

Factory Reset
You can partially reset the machine back to its default printer settings. The settings that will not be reset are the INTERFACE, LANGUAGE, PAGE PROTECTION, SCALABLE FONT, LOCK PANEL and the Network settings:
1 | Press any of the menu buttons (+, -, Set or Back) of the control panel on your machine. |
2 | Press + or - to choose RESET MENU. Press Set. RESET MENU  |

3 | Press + or - to choose FACTORY RESET. Press Set. FACTORY RESET  |
|
4 | Press Set again. OK?  |

Settings Reset
This operation will reset all the machine settings back to the settings that were set at the factory:
1 | Disconnect the network cable from the printer; otherwise the network settings (such as IP address) will not be reset. |
2 | Turn off the printer. |
3 | Make sure that the front cover is closed and the power cord is plugged in. |
4 | Hold down Go as you turn on the power switch. Keep Go pressed down until the LCD shows USERS MODE. |
5 | Release Go. |
6 | Press Go ten times. The printer will automatically restart. |
