Set the Continue Mode

The Continue Mode forces the machine to continue printing after the control panel or the Status Monitor displays "Replace Toner".

The machine will continue printing until the LCD or the Status Monitor displays "Toner Ended".

The factory setting is "Stop".

  • When the control panel or the Status Monitor indicates an error, you cannot change the mode.
  • If you continue printing in the Continue Mode, we cannot guarantee the print quality.
  • While using Continue Mode the print may appear faint.
  • After replacing the toner cartridge with a new one, the Continue Mode will go back to the factory setting ("Stop").

HL-L2400D

  1. Make sure that the front cover is closed and the power cord is plugged in.
  2. Press image to turn on the machine and make sure only the Ready LED lights up.
  3. Press Go seven (7) times to turn the function On or Off.

    All LEDs blink twice when you turn on the Continue Mode.

    All LEDs blink once when you turn off the Continue Mode.

  1. Press image or image to select the following:
    1. Select [General Setup]. Press OK.
    2. Select [Replace Toner]. Press OK.
  2. Press image or image to display [Continue] or [Stop], and then press Go.
