How to set a new default for Scan to FTP

You can set your own default settings for Quality, File Type and File Name.

Setting the new default

Press the Graphic (Scan) key.

Press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose Scan to FTP.
Press OK.

Press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose <Manual>.
Press OK.
Note Note
If there is no FTP Profile configured, skip 3 and go to 4.

Enter the FTP host address (for example ftp.example.com up to 60 characters) or the IP address (for example 192.23.56.189).
Press OK.

Enter the destination folder (for example /brother/abc/, up to 60 characters).
Press OK.

Enter the username. Press OK.

Enter the password. Press OK.

Press and choose your new setting. Repeat this step for each setting you want to change.

After changing the last setting, press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose Set New Default.
Press OK.

Press 1 to choose Yes.

Press Stop/Exit.

Factory reset

You can reset Quality, File Type and File Name to the factory settings.

Press the Graphic (Scan) key.

Press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose Scan to FTP.
Press OK.

Press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose <Manual>.
Press OK.
Note Note
