You can set your own default settings for Quality, File Type and File Name.
Setting the new default
| 1 | Press the  ( Scan) key. |
| 2 | Press  or  to choose Scan to FTP. Press OK. |
| 3 | Press or to choose <Manual>. Press OK.  Note | | If there is no FTP Profile configured, skip 3 and go to 4. |

| 4 | Enter the FTP host address (for example ftp.example.com up to 60 characters) or the IP address (for example 192.23.56.189). Press OK. |
| 5 | Enter the destination folder (for example /brother/abc/, up to 60 characters). Press OK. |
| 6 | Enter the username. Press OK. |
| 7 | Enter the password. Press OK. |
| 8 | Press and choose your new setting. Repeat this step for each setting you want to change. |
| 9 | After changing the last setting, press or to choose Set New Default. Press OK. |
| 10 | Press 1 to choose Yes. |
| 11 | Press Stop/Exit. |
Factory reset
You can reset Quality, File Type and File Name to the factory settings.
| 1 | Press the ( Scan) key. |
| 2 | Press or to choose Scan to FTP. Press OK. |
| 3 | Press or to choose <Manual>. Press OK. Note | | If there is no FTP Profile configured, skip 3 and go to 4. |
