You can set your own default settings for Quality, File Type, Glass Scan Size and File Name.
Setting the new default
1 | Press the ( Scan) key. |
2 | Press Scan to FTP. |
3 | Press or to choose <Manual>. Note | If there is no FTP Profile configured, skip 3 and go to 4. |

4 | Press to choose Name for the FTP host address or IP Address for the FTP IP address. |
5 | Enter the FTP host address (for example ftp.example.com up to 60 characters) or the IP address (for example 192.23.56.189). Press OK. |
6 | Enter the destination folder (for example /brother/abc/, up to 60 characters). Press OK. |
7 | Enter the username. Press OK. |
8 | Enter the password. Press OK. |
9 | Press and choose your new setting. Repeat this step for each setting you want to change. |
10 | After changing the last setting, press or to choose Set New Default. |
11 | Press Yes. |
Factory reset
You can reset Quality, File Type, Glass Scan Size and File Name to the factory settings.
1 | Press the ( Scan) key. |
2 | Press Scan to FTP. |
