Adjusting brightness, contrast and colour

Brightness

Adjust the copy brightness to make copies darker or lighter.
To temporarily change the copy brightness setting, follow the steps below:

Load your document.

Use the numeric keys to enter the number of copies (up to 99).

Press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose Bright.
Quality   :Auto
Enlg/Red:100%
Tray       :MP>T1
Bright     :-Bsymbol.squBsymbol.squBsymbol.squfBsymbol.squBsymbol.squ+Bsymbol.rtri
Select Bsymbol.ltri Bsymbol.rtri & OK

Press Bsymbol.rtri to make a lighter copy or press Bsymbol.ltri to make a darker copy.
Press OK.

Press Mono Start or Colour Start.
To change the default setting follow the steps below:

Press Menu, 2, 2.

Select Bsymbol.ltri Bsymbol.rtri & OK

Press Bsymbol.rtri to make a lighter copy or press Bsymbol.ltri to make a darker copy.
Press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.

Contrast

Adjust the contrast to help an image look sharper and more vivid.
To temporarily change the contrast setting, follow the steps below:

Load your document.

Use the numeric keys to enter the number of copies (up to 99).

Press Contrast/Quality.
Press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose Contrast. Press OK.
Contrast :-Bsymbol.squBsymbol.squBsymbol.squfBsymbol.squBsymbol.squ+Bsymbol.rtri
Quality   :Auto
Enlg/Red:100%
Tray       :MP>T1
Select Bsymbol.ltri Bsymbol.rtri & OK

Press Bsymbol.ltri or Bsymbol.rtri to increase or decrease the contrast.
Press OK.

Press Mono Start or Colour Start.

Press OK.

Press Stop/Exit.

Colour adjust

You can change the default setting for colour saturation.
To change the default setting follow the steps below:

Press Menu, 2, 4.

  1.Red
  2.Green
  3.Blue
Select Bsymbol.utriBsymbol.dtri or OK

Press Bsymbol.utri or Bsymbol.dtri to choose 1.Red, 2.Green or 3.Blue.
Press OK.

Press Bsymbol.ltri or Bsymbol.rtri to increase or decrease the colour saturation.
Press OK.

Return to 2 to choose the next colour. Or press Stop/Exit.
