Network printing from a Macintosh

Overview
This chapter explains how to print from a Macintosh

on a Network using the Simple Network Configuration capabilities on Mac OS
®
X 10.2.4 or greater.

How to choose the print server (TCP/IP)
For Mac OS

X 10.2.4 to 10.4.x

Turn on the machine by plugging in the power cord.

From the
Go
menu, choose
Applications
.

Open the
Utilities
folder.

Double-click the
Printer Setup Utility

Print Center
icon.)

Add

(XXXX is your model name), and then click
Add

Click the printer, then click
Make Default
to set the printer as the default printer. The printer is now ready.
