Set the Telephone Line Type

This feature is available only in South Africa.

If you are connecting the machine to a line that features PBX or ISDN to send and receive faxes, you must select a Telephone Line Type that matches your line's features.

MFC-J4350DW/MFC-J4355DW

  1. Press Settings.
  2. Press image or image to select the following:
    1. Select [Initial Setup]. Press OK.
    2. Select [Phone Line Set]. Press OK.
    3. Select [Normal], [PBX] or [ISDN]. Press OK.
  3. Press Stop/Exit.

MFC-J4555DW

  1. Press image [Settings]>[All Settings]>[Initial Setup]>[Phone Line Set].
  2. Press [Normal], [PBX], or [ISDN].
  3. Press image.
