Reset the Network Settings to Factory Default

You can use your machine's control panel to reset the machine's network settings to its default factory settings. This resets all information except the administrator password.

  • This feature restores all network settings, except the administrator password, to the factory settings. To reset the administrator password, use the Factory Reset feature.

  • You can also reset the print server to its factory settings using Web Based Management.

DCP-J1310DW/DCP-J1360DW/MFC-J4350DW/MFC-J4355DW

  1. Press Settings.
  2. Press image or image to make your selections:
    1. Select [Network]. Press OK.
    2. Select [Network Reset]. Press OK.
  3. Press image for two seconds to confirm.
    The machine restarts.

MFC-J4555DW

  1. Press image[Settings]>[All Settings]>[Network]>[Network Reset].
  2. The reset confirmation message is displayed. Press [OK] for two seconds.
    The machine will restart.
