Enable/Disable Global IP Address Detection

Use this feature to check your machine's IP address. When your machine is assigned to a global IP address, an alert is displayed on the machine.

  1. Press Settings.
  2. Press image or image to make your selections:
    1. Select [Network]. Press OK.
    2. Select the [Global Detect] option. Press OK.
    3. Select the [Allow Detect] option. Press OK.
    4. Select [On] or [Off]. Press OK.

MFC-J4555DW

  1. Press image[Settings]>[All Settings]>[Network]>[Global Detect]>[Allow Detect]>[On].
  2. Press image.
