Applications Supporting Cut Print

The Cut Print feature allows you to print on A4 paper, and then cut the paper to A5 size. You can use the feature with the applications shown in the table.

Brother iPrint&Scan

In the printer properties dialog box, click Advanced > Printing Defaults. For more detailed information about how to open the printer properties dialog box, see Related Information: Change the Default Print Settings (Windows)

In the printer driver dialog box, select the Cut Print checkbox.

Select A4 or A5 for document size in Brother iPrint&Scan, and then print your documents. *1

If the No Resize option is selected in the Cut Print field of the printer driver dialog box and A4 is selected for document size in Brother iPrint&Scan, your machine prints A4 documents without resizing on A4 paper, and cuts the paper in half.
