Scan Specific/irregular-sized Documents Using the Carrier Sheet

Load the Carrier Sheet (see Loading Clippings, Photos and Other Important Documents).
Note Note
Load only one Carrier Sheet at a time.

Click the Graphic (ControlCenter4) icon in the task tray and then select Open from the menu.
The ControlCenter4 window will appear.
Note Note
You can also start ControlCenter4 by doing one of the following:
•
(Windows® XP, Windows Vista®)
Double-click the Graphic (ControlCenter4) icon in the task tray.
•
Click ControlCenter4 located in Start/All Programs/Brother/ADS-XXXXX (where XXXXX is your model name).

Select the Scan tab.

Click the button you want to use (Graphic (Image), Graphic (OCR), Graphic (E-mail), or Graphic (File)). The setting dialog box will appear (the example below uses Image).

Check the Carrier Sheet Mode check box.

Select a document size other than Auto from the Document Size drop-down list.

Change other settings if needed (see Change Scan Settings (ControlCenter4) (Windows®)).

Click the Scan button.
The machine starts scanning.

Check the Don’t show me again. check box not to show the setting dialog box again.
