This table shows how different margin options appear on labels.

Setting Description Example
Small The tape automatically feeds 10.5 mm first, and then each label is printed, leaving a margin of 4 mm before and after the text.
  • When the label length is approximately 26 mm or more:

  • When the label length is approximately 26 mm or less
    • If printing a single label:

Medium

Each label has a margin of 12 mm before and after the text.

Chain Print *1

  • Select this setting when printing several labels with minimum margins.
  • The tape automatically feeds 10.5 mm first, and then each label is printed, leaving a margin of 2 mm before and after the text.
  • The cut position is set in the middle of the printing area after the last label is printed. When the message Feed OK? appears on the LCD, press image to feed the tape, otherwise part of the text may get cut off. Do not try to pull the tape as this may damage the Tape Cassette.

    Press image to return to the text entry screen.

(PT-N25BT) The size of the margin is different when Chain Print is set on the printer and when Chain Print is set on the Brother P-touch Design&Print 2 app. Chain Print set on the printer prints a slightly smaller margin.
