Charge the Rechargeable Li-ion Battery Using the 4-bay Charging Cradle

The 4-bay Charging Cradle cannot recharge the printer's rechargeable Li-ion battery without being connected to an electrical socket using the AC adapter (PA-AD-600A).

Before Charging the Rechargeable Li-ion Battery

  1. Remove the Charging Cradle terminal cover with a flathead screwdriver.

  2. Install the Charging Cradle Terminal Attachment onto the printer using the Charging Cradle Terminal Attachment and screws included with the Charging Cradle.

    Make sure the notched corner is aligned correctly.

Charge the Rechargeable Li-ion Battery

  1. Connect the AC Adapter to the Charging Cradle's DC Connector.

  2. Connect the AC power cord to the AC Adapter.
  3. Connect the AC power cord to a nearby electrical socket.
  4. Align the Charging Cradle Terminals of the Charging Cradle and the printer.

  5. Press the printer down and onto the Charging Cradle until the latches lock it firmly in place.
    The printer’s LED Indicator lights in orange when charging.
The printer’s LED Indicator will turn off when charging is complete.

Remove the Printer from the Charging Cradle

  • Push the Eject Button on the back of the Charging Cradle, lift the printer, and then remove it from the Charging Cradle.
