Lock Labels for Editing
To protect frequently used templates from unwanted edits, convert a text object in the label layout to an image. After converting the label layout to an image, the text cannot be changed.
- In the P-touch Editor Layout window, right-click the text object, and then click Properties.
- Click the Expanded tab, and then select the Text Cannot Be Edited checkbox.
- If the Expanded tab does not appear, click , and then select the Display Expanded Tabs of Object Properties checkbox in the Others section.
- When the Text Cannot Be Edited checkbox is cleared, the object is converted back to editable text.
