- Brother will not provide new Brother software nor update previously provided software for the Windows OS versions that Microsoft no longer supports or for the Mac operating systems older than the last three systems.

As of July 25, 2025, a vulnerability has been identified in the product's printer driver installer that could allow malicious third parties to exploit the product during installation.
Support for this driver has been terminated and no further updates or security patches will be provided to address this vulnerability.
