A data transmission error appears on the computer when trying to print a label.

  1. Check that the correct port is selected.

     

    • Using P-touch Editor, select File … Printer/Page Setup. Verify that the selected printer is the correct one (Brother QL-650TD). If not, use the pull-down menu to select the Brother QL printer.
       
    • Using P-touch Add-Ins, select the Page Settings icon. Choose the Printer Setup Tab and verify that the selected printer is the correct one (Brother QL-650TD). If not, use the pull-down menu to select the Brother QL printer (Brother QL-650TD)
  2. Check if the Brother QL-650TD is in cooling mode. If the LED lamp is flashing slowly, the Brother QL-650TD is in cooling mode. Wait until the LED lamp stops flashing and then try printing again.
