Follow the steps below to unpack the machine:
NOTE: Illustrations shown below are from a representative product and may differ from your Brother machine.

1. Open the box.
           
   
    
2. Remove small components.
             
   
     
3. Remove packing materials.
            
   
              
4. Remove the starter toner cartridge.
        
   
        
5. Pull the machine out of the box.
             
   
    
6. Remove plastic bag and blue protective tape.
         
   
             
7. Open the scanner cover and remove the transparent sheet.
                       
   
        
8. Close the scanner cover.
                  
   
             
9. Open the front cover and remove the orange packing material.

             
    
              

10. Remove the drum unit.
              
    
                     
11. Unpack the toner cartridge.
               
    
            
12. Remove the protective cover.
             
    
                 
13. Put the toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit until you hear it lock into place.
              
    
    To avoid print quality issue, DO NOT touch the red shaded parts.
              
    
14. Install drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the machine.
             
    
                   
15. Close the front cover.
