The knife does not cut fabric.

  • Probable cause

    Blade worn.

     

    Remedy

    When the knives no longer cut fabric, they must be replaced. To replace the knife with a new one, contact your authorized Brother dealer.

 

 

  • Probable cause

    The knife lock lever set to lock knife.

     

    Remedy

    Move the knife lock lever to unlock the knife.

    For details on unlocking the upper knife, refer to "Locking and unlocking the upper knife".
