Yes. You can use a 38.1 mm (1.5") paper core by converting the Roll Guide before installing the media.

Follow the steps below:

1. Use a 2.5 mm (3/32") hex key (purchased separately) to remove the Media Adapter located on both sides of the Roll Guides.
   

   You can use this kind of hex screw driver to release and fasten the Media Adapter.
   

2. Reverse the direction of the Media Adapter and align it with the Roll Guide.

   1.  For 25.4 mm (1") core 2.  For 38.1 mm (1.5") core

   The Roll Guide can be converted from a 25.4 mm (1") core to 38.1 mm (1.5") core by reversing the Media
   Adapter.

   		1.  Roll Guide 2.  Media Adapter
   For 25.4 mm (1") paper core	For 38.1 mm (1.5") paper core

3. Reinstall the Media Adapter and use a hex key to secure it onto the Roll Guides.
