I'm using Mac OS X 10.5. When trying to scan using the Brother ControlCenter2 with the USB interface, the ControlCenter2 screen will close. What should I do?

To solve this issue, you must remove the existing drivers and then download and install the updated scanner driver by following the steps below:

  1. Turn off your Brother machine.
  2. Select MacintoshHD => Library => Image Capture to open the Twain Data Sources folder.

  3. Drag the Brother TWAIN.ds to the trash can.

  4. Turn on your Brother machine.
  5. Click here to download and install the latest "Scanner Driver".
