An error message referring to BRSVC01A.EXE appears after installing the printer driver on Windows® XP SP2 or Windows Server 2003.

You will need to update the program of the installed driver.

  1. Click here to start downloading the patch file.
  2. Save the file to a "New Folder" on your desktop.
  3. Double click the icon named "brsp2p1" and extract it.
  4. a new file will appear, double click the icon named "Setup.exe" and restart your computer when prompted.
  5. The program has now been changed.

*For Windows® XP SP2 users:
Failed application BRSVC01A.EXE, version x.x.x.x, failed module unknown, version x.x.x.x, fault address 0 x0012e824. ("x" indicates the version number)*For Windows Server 2003 users:
Brsvc01a encountered a problem and needed to close
