I'm using SuSE11.2. I cannot print to Brother monochrome machines. (Linux)
For the moment, use the Foomatic HL1250 driver.
Linux Ghostscript does not appear to support the bit format conversion.
Check the SuSE community for updates to Ghostscript that may correct this issue.
