Can I reduce the size of a received fax on this machine?


  • Yes, your machine can automatically reduce the size of an incoming fax to fit the size of the paper in your machine. To set AUTO REDUCTION mode ON, follow the instructions listed below:
  1. If the FAX mode key is not illuminated in green, press it.
  2. Press the Menu/Set key on the control panel.
  3. Press the up or down navigation key until Fax appears on the LCD and press Menu/Set.
  4. Press the up or down navigation key until Setup Receive appears and press Menu/Set.
  5. Press the up or down navigation key until Auto Reduction appears and press Menu/Set.
  6. Press the up or down navigation key until ON (or OFF) appears and  press Menu/Set.
  7. Press Stop/Exit.
  • Verify the Paper Size is set correctly. Follow the instructions listed below:
  1. Press the Menu/Set key.
  2. Press the up or down navigation key until General Setup appears on the LCD and press Menu/Set.
  3. Press the up or down navigation key until Paper Size appears and press Menu/Set.
  4. Use the up or down navigation key to select the correct size (Letter, Legal) and press Menu/Set.
  5. Press Stop/Exit.
