How do I clear vertical lines or streaks that appear in the copies I made?
These types of lines are typically caused by dirt or white out (correction fluid) on the glass strip, or one of the corona wires for printing is dirty. This problem is usually resolved by cleaning the scanner glass strip with a soft lint-free cloth, or cleaning the corona wires.
Please refer to the instructions, "How do I clean the scanner to improve the copy quality?" and "How can I clean the corona wires?"
We recommend unplugging the power cord for safety.
If you continue to experience vertical lines, repeat the cleaning process. If the situation persists after multiple cleanings, contact our Customer Service Center.
