This message indicates that a paper jam occurs in the upper assembly of the duplex unit.

Follow the procedure below to remove the jammed paper.

1. Open the Duplex Cover Top Assembly.

    

   

2. If the paper is caught in the exit of the Duplex Cover Top Assembly, remove the jammed paper by pulling it slowly.

    

   

3. If the jammed paper is inside the Duplex Cover Top Assembly, remove it by rotating the green pinch roller downwards to feed the paper out through the exit of the Assembly.

    

   

4. If the jammed paper is caught inside the Duplex Cover Top Assembly, open the Paper Guide and remove the paper. Close the Paper Guide.

    

   

5. Close the Duplex Cover Top Assembly.
