Do one of the following to clear the message:

Turning Secure Function Lock off

*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps of "For Touchscreen models" below.

1. Press Menu.
   
   
2. Press the Up or Down Arrow key choose Lock On->Off and press OK.
   
   
3. Enter your four-digit administrator password and press OK.

<FOR models Touchscreen>

1. Press .
   
   
2. Press Lock On->Off.
   
   
3. Enter your four-digit administrator password by pressing the buttons on the Touchscreen and press OK.
