Lift up the protective cover (1), and then lightly wipe the print head (2) with the cleaning pen.
When printing stops in cooling mode, do not open the top cover or bottom cover, otherwise printing will not resume.
About cooling mode:If the print head becomes too hot, printing will stop so that the print head can cool down, while the power indicator blinks once every second in orange. At that time, an extra vertical line will be printed on the tape or fabric ribbon. After cooling, printing will resume.
This may occur when printing a high volume of text with a high print density.
To avoid or delay the onset of this condition, edit your design to reduce the detail.
