FAQs & Troubleshooting |
What maintenance should be performed?
Perform machine maintenance as required.
Some environments require that maintenance must be done more frequently (for example, if the machine is located in dusty conditions).
> Ink ribbon guide roller maintenance
> Paper core holder maintenance
When printing stops in cooling mode, do not open the top cover or bottom cover, otherwise printing will not resume.
If the print head becomes too hot, printing will stop so that the print head can cool down, while the power indicator blinks once every second in orange. At that time, an extra vertical line will be printed on the tape or fabric ribbon. After cooling, printing will resume.
This may occur when printing a high volume of text with a high print density.
To avoid or delay the onset of this condition, edit your design to reduce the detail.

Use a piece of cellophane tape to remove dirt or dust from the surface of the platen roller (1).
If tape adhesive accumulates on the inside (1) of the rims for the paper core holder, clean it off.
