Why are the lines sewn together even though they are drawn apart?

Cause

If the space between the lines is narrow, the embroidery data will be converted into a continuous line.
If referring to jump stitches here - The machine may be set so that the jump stitches are not cut.

Solution

Keep the space between lines wider.
Also, check that the jump stitch setting in the machine is set for smaller stitches.
