Reset the Usage Counters

After replacing any machine parts, reset the usage counter so that you can start counting from 0.

ADS-2200

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Windows®

      Click (Start)>All Programs>Brother>ADS-XXXXX>Remote Setup.

    • Mac

      In the Finder menu bar, click Go>Applications>Brother, and then double-click the Remote Setup icon.

  2. Select your model name in the Discover Devices dialog box, and then click Connect.
    The Remote Setup Program window appears.
  3. Click the Machine Info menu in the left navigation pane.
  4. In the Remaining Life section, under Pickup Roller, click the Reset button.
  5. Click OK to close the Remote Setup window.

ADS-2700W

  1. Press [Settings]>[Machine Info.]>[Usage Counters].
  2. To reset the Roller Counter, press [Roller Count].
  3. When the touchscreen displays a confirmation message, press [Yes].
  4. Press .
