The Status LED ORANGE indicates that the top cover is not fully closed.
Try clearing the LED error by opening and closing the top cover.
Press the On/Off button to power off the machine.
Open the top cover and remove the roll of labels from the machine.
Re-install the DK roll back into the machine. Ensure the tape of labels is NOT under the right foot of the spool (the foot has to make direct contact with the five switches located on the right side of the compartment), the tab on the right spool slide between the opening of the guide on the right side and the roll is seated firmly in the compartment.
Thread the end of the roll into the slot until you can see the edge of the roll from the front of the machine.
Close the top cover.
Press the On/Off button to power on the machine and the LED should light GREEN (normal).
If the problem persists, your machine may require service.
