Adjust the settings of the ring volume, beeper volume and speaker volume on my Brother machine.

Your Brother machine has three adjustable volume settings: Ring Volume, Beeper Volume, and Speaker Volume.

Follow the steps below to change the volumes:

CHANGING RING VOLUME

You can change your Brother machine's Ring Volume by following the steps below:

Press (Settings).
Press All Settings.
Press the Up or Down arrow key to display General Setup.
Press General Setup.
Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Volume.
Press Volume.
Press Ring.
Press Low, Med, High or Off.
Press (Home).

CHANGING BEEPER VOLUME

You can set your Brother machine's Beeper Volume to Low, Medium, High, or Off. When the beeper is on, the machine will make a sound when you press the Touchscreen or Touchpanel, make a mistake, or after you send or receive a fax.

Follow the steps below to change your Brother machine's Beeper Volume:

Press (Settings).
Press All Settings.
Press the Up or Down arrow key to display General Setup.
Press General Setup.
Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Volume.
Press Volume.
Press Beep.
Press Low, Med, High or Off.
Press (Home).

CHANGING SPEAKER VOLUME

You can change your Brother machine's Speaker Volume by following the steps below:

Press (Settings).
Press All Settings.
Press the Up or Down arrow key to display General Setup.
Press General Setup.
Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Volume.
Press Volume.
Press Speaker.
Press Low, Med, High or Off.
Press (Home).

You can also adjust the speaker volume by pressing Hook.

Do one of the following:
- When Fax Preview is set to off or your Brother machine does not have the function, press (Fax).
- When Fax Preview is set to on, press (Fax) and (Sending Faxes).
Press Hook.
Press (Home).
Press or on the Touchscreen. Each press changes the volume to the next setting.
Press Hook.
