Duplex Copy (1-sided to 2-sided)
Your Brother machine does not support Automatic 2-Sided(Duplex) Copying (the machine automatically copies on both sides of a sheet of paper). However you can manually make copies on both sides of a page.
To manually 2-sided(duplex) documents, follow the instructions below:
- (For Brother machines with FAX function)
Press the COPY key to illuminate it.
- Place your document face up in the ADF (automatic document feeder) or face down on the scanner glass.
- Press the START key.
- When the copy has completed printing, remove the copied document and load it in the paper tray, printed side UP.
- Do one of the following:
- If you are copying a two sided document, turn the document over in the ADF or on the scanner glass.
- If you are copying a second document, remove the original document and place the second document face up in the ADF or face down on the scanner glass.
- If you are copying a two sided document, turn the document over in the ADF or on the scanner glass.
- Press the START key.
