Case 1: Colored spots at 94 mm (3.7 in.) intervals

Please check the following points to solve the problem:

The drum unit or toner cartridges may not be installed correctly. Re-install the drum unit and toner cartridges.

The drum unit may have glue from a label stuck on the drum surface. Clean the drum unit as follow:

2. Compare your printed document with the printed chart to identify the color causing the problem.
3. Clean the drum unit of the color. Click here to see the details of how to clean the drum unit.
If the problem continues, the drum unit may be damaged. Put in a new drum unit of the color causing the problem. Click here to see the details of how to replace the drum unit.

Case 2: Colored spots at 30 mm (1.2 in.) intervals

Please check the following points to solve the problem:

The drum unit or toner cartridges may not be installed correctly. Re-install the drum unit and toner cartridges.

The toner cartridge may be damaged. Put in a new toner cartridge as follow:
