The battery will not charge.

The battery will not charge due to the following cases:

 

  • When the rechargeable battery is not installed:
    Make sure you have installed the rechargeable battery.
    For details, see the FAQ: "How to install the rechargeable Li-ion battery".
     
  • When the USB cable is not connected correctly:
    When charging the battery by connecting the printer to your computer or the USB AC Adapter, the printer will not charge if the USB cable is not plugged correctly.
    Reconnect the USB cable correctly and confirm that the Battery LED is lit in orange while charging.

    The Battery LED turns off when the battery is fully charged.
