What is Multi-Function Link Pro Suite?
The Multi-Function Link Pro (MFL Pro) Suite and the MFC Software Suite are software programs designed to give the greatest flexibility, functionality and enjoyment from your Brother machine.
These programs are included on the product CD-ROM and they are installed during the initial setup.
MFL Pro Suite/ MFC Software Suite includes the following applications:
For Windows users:
- Printer driver
- Scanner driver
- PC-FAX software
- Remote Setup
- ScanSoft® TextBridge® OCR
An OCR application for converting an image into text and it is integrated into PaperPort®.
- ScanSoft® PaperPort®
A document management application for viewing scanned documents ScanSoft™. TextBridge® OCR application that converts an image into text and integrates it into PaperPort®.
- True Type fonts
- BRAdmin Professional
This software allows system administrators to view and control the status of their networked Brother and SNMP compliant printers.
- Driver Deployment Wizard
This wizard helps with the installation of a locally or networked connected Brother Printer.
- Network Print Software
This software manually installs the Internet Print software and the Peer to Peer Printing software.
For Macintosh users:

- Scanner driver (only for Mac OS X 10.2.1 or greater)
- PC-FAX send driver
- Presto!® PageManager®
- Remote Setup (only for Mac OS X 10.1/ 10.2.1 or greater)
